The role:
As Internal Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading a diverse team of Account Managers and Customer Service Associates
- Driving performance through coaching, training, and clear KPIs.
- Supporting the Head of Sales with strategic planning and execution.
- Managing recruitment, development, and performance across the sales function.
- Playing a key role in the transition to a new ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets to meet revenue and margin goals.
- Provide ongoing training and development for account managers and support staff.
- Analyse KPIs and sales metrics to drive performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Contribute to bids, tenders, and digital sales transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with sales, finance, and legal policies.
- Support business development and strengthen customer relationships.
Requirements
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in an internal sales management role, within a B2B environment.
- Background in FMCG, distribution, or fulfilment sectors.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Confidence to manage a diverse team and collaborate cross-functionally.
- ERP/CRM proficiency (OGL or similar), with adaptability to new systems.
