Job summary
The Bromcom Internal Business Development Manager helps to drive growth and achieve our ultimate goal of becoming the UKs most used and loved school Management Information System. In this role you will be working within the Bromcom School by School (SbyS) team, focusing on selling Bromcom into Local Authority supported schools, single academy trusts (SATs) and small multi-academy trusts (MATs). The successful applicant will be engaging directly with prospects on a daily basis, so being a great communicator is key, along with being self-motivated, energetic, driven, and have genuine passion for sales. You will be supported by a pre-sales team who will provide product demonstrations, technical advice and product knowledge.
Key responsibilities:
Sales growth:
- The SbyS BDM drives sales using a consultative approach
- Understanding customers' needs, objectives and pain points
- Demonstrating how Bromcom's solutions meet these needs
- Overcoming objections
- Identify and engage with key decision makers
- Own the end to end sales process from lead generation, managing inbound leads, discovery process to arranging demos, creating quotes and negotiating to close the deal.
- Manage your own pipeline and ensure all activity is logged in Dynamics 365.
- Open up new opportunities though gathering market intelligence and proactively engaging in outbound sales calls.
- Develop knowledge of schools and keep up to date with changes in the education sector
KPIs and expected standards:
- Achieve KPIs as set by the Head of Sales including sales target, activity target - outbound engaged calls - and sales process SLAs such as providing pricing proposals in a timely manner.
- Create a sales pipeline and deliver against target
- Contribute to weekly sales report.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of data in D365.
- Work to expected Bromcom sales standards including recording all progress and activities in D365
- Develop knowledge of Edtech.
- Forecast accurately.
Experience required:
- 3 years SaaS sales experience, preferably in EdTech.
- Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred but not essential
- MIS or Finance sales experience preferred
- Able to travel to Bromley for sales meetings (typically 4-6 times per year)
- Demonstrable track record of achieving targets.
Experience required:
- 3 years SaaS sales experience, preferably in EdTech.
- Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred but not essential
- MIS or Finance sales experience preferred
- Able to travel to Bromley for sales meetings (typically 4-6 times per year)
- Demonstrable track record of achieving targets.
