We have a wonderful opportunity within our Flagship Mayfair shop as an Interiors Manager. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the Interiors Department within the Albemarle St store, ensuring sales targets are met and surpassed. With a passion for art and interiors, you'll be sourcing and managing artwork within the Paul Smith brief and be responsible for providing market-based expertise to meet customer needs and drive seasonal performance.

The Role:
• To oversee the smooth running of the Interiors Department within the Albemarle shop ensuring sales targets are met and surpassed.
• Source artwork on a sale-or-return basis and/or for purchase to resell, adhering to an artwork budget. Collaborating with Buying and Merchandising to align sales with seasonal budgeting calendars.
• Maximise all sales opportunities to ensure alignment with financial targets for yourself, Shop Design and Buying.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with galleries, artists, and designers to source artwork, negotiating contracts for consigned pieces.
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships while consistently promoting the brand image and providing exceptional service.
• Actively pursue new business by reaching out to interior designers and other potential clients, in addition to nurturing existing client relationships and foot traffic.
• Collaborate with the Shop Design and Buying Team to interpret themes and styles for the Paul Smith Albemarle Street store.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders across departments on important interiors and brand calendar events related to client engagement, driving traffic, and enhancing customer experience.
• Manage and coordinate the set up/takedown of exhibitions and floor moves with support from the Facilities Team and Shop Design.
• Ensure adherence to all inventory processes for interior stock management.
• Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of art, furniture and clothing products at all times, sharing this information consistently with customers and the Paul Smith sales team.

• High level interest in the Paul Smith brand; Passion for art, design and fashion.
• Highly self-motivated & enthusiastic; ability to lead a team and motivate others.
• Influential and confident with the ability to deal with people at all levels; ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
• Displays initiative and is creative. Flexible & adaptable, collaborative.
• Ability to be an ambassador for Paul Smith. Smart appearance and individual
• Interest and knowledge of current trends in music, arts and culture.

Who you are:
• Proven high-level experience in art selling/buying; skilled at increasing key performance measures and sales.
• Has a deep understanding of both the art industry and business practices.
• Ability to drive and develop sales; ability to interpret financial sales related data.
• Experience creating best visual standards and practices in store.
• Excellent proven business operational skills & standards. Keen eye for attention to detail.
