Summary

Shakespeare's Globe is currently seeking a Theatre General Manager on a 5-month fixed term basis. The Theatre General Manager will work directly with the Executive Director of Theatre and alongside the Artistic Director and Senior Leadership Team to support and guide the smooth running of the Theatre Department.

The role will manage the department at senior management level, working closely with the EDT to track progress of our short and long term aims and objectives. They will manage day to day activities, working closely with the Deputy General Manager (DGM), to ensure these are supported and achieved. They will co-ordinate with key members of Production to ensure the resources of both the theatre and staff are deployed effectively to deliver programmed work.

The Theatre General Manager will work closely with the Head of People & Culture to ensure best working practices are in place for the department of permanent staff and our extensive freelance workforce.
