We are looking for an Interim Head of Marketing to lead the marketing, communications, PR and sales functions of the organisation, managing a team of two in the marketing team, alongside the Box Office with line management of the Sales and Box Office Manager.

As well as leading the Marketing and Box Office teams, the Interim Head of Marketing will be responsible for taking the lead on production marketing and sales, collaborating closely with outreach, fundraising, catering and front of house to ensure the successful marketing consistency of communications.
The Watermill has a new brand identity which reflects and celebrates its mission, vision and values. It also has a new website which offers a powerful and flexible online presence that supports sales, fundraising and community engagement.
The Interim Head of Marketing will ensure that campaigns and activity for the autumn 25 and spring/summer 26 (to be announced) shows are delivered on time and within budget, meeting sales targets. They will plan the on sales for further productions, and work with the team to coordinate on sales, marketing assets and campaigns for all activities at the Watermill. They will play an active role in managing and supporting the team and will provide management information to senior colleagues and the Executive.
