This role is responsible for developing and managing the data and measurement strategy for Learning & Talent, ensuring the effective use of data to drive decision-making, measure impact, and support continuous improvement. The role encompasses ownership of Learning & Talent metrics, dashboards, and reporting, as well as providing insights to enhance the learner experience and align Learning & Talent initiatives with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data and measurement strategy for Learning & Talent, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and priorities.
- Manage the Learning & Talent dashboard, including reporting metrics, trend analysis, data source identification, and quality improvements.
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to measure the impact and ROI of Learning & Talent initiatives.
- Lead the creation of evaluations, impact metrics, and case studies to assess the effectiveness of Learning & Talent solutions.
- Provide regular data-driven insights and analysis to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and ensure the availability of accurate, timely, and relevant information.
- Maintain and improve data processes, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance with organisational standards.
- Support the Head of Operations and other senior leaders with data analysis and reporting for strategic projects and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data collection, reporting, and analysis processes through automation and innovative technologies.
- Provide training and guidance to the Learning & Talent team on data and measurement best practices and tools.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective communication and stakeholder management skills to interpret data insights and influence senior stakeholders. They must be highly organised, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and adept at collaborating across diverse teams, particularly within complex organisational structures.
Essential:
- Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and measurement, with a focus on Learning & Talent and development or a related field.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent understanding of Learning & Talent measurement and evaluation concepts, including ROI, impact metrics, and KPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present data insights to inform decision-making.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with experience in managing multiple data and reporting projects simultaneously.
Desirable:
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with Learning & Talent management systems (LMS) and data integration processes.
- Understanding and/or experience of more complex statistical and/ or analytics methodologies and tooling
- Experience of working in a partnership and/or highly matrixed organisation.
