In a nutshell, the mission of a Business Operations Manager is to ensure our organisation maintains the highest levels of compliance and security standards by leading process management, audits, overseeing risk assessments, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Audit Management: Lead SOC 2 and ISO 27001 (surveillance) audits whilst driving continuous improvement and identifying areas for automation
- Process Management: Analyse, document, and optimize business processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational objectives and remove bottlenecks. Documentation and facilitation of critical meetings and delivering key business projects
- Vendor & Customer Management: Oversee vendor onboarding and management process, classify vendors by risk level, ensuring appropriate certifications or assessments are conducted and manage customer due diligence requests
- Compliance Oversight: Maintain and update compliance and information security evidence, conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and enforce and improve policies
- Incident Management & Reporting: Manage incidents and prepare compliance and security status reports for the board of directors. Manage remediation activities and customer support
- Delivery Management: Leading Tech and cross functional ways of working, facilitating meetings and managing tech project management
Requirements:
- Experience in business operations
- Lead compliance audits, particularly SOC2 and ISO27001.
- Knowledge of SCRUM, agile, Kanban and engineering best practices
- Project management skills
- Organisation

- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory standards, and information security practices.
- Ability to work cross functionally
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of operational and security metrics, reporting, and risk management.
- Must be very organized, analytical, and structured
- Strong governance-orientation to ensure processes are followed
- Experience in fintech or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with compliance tools like Vanta
