MISSION
Following direction and guidance from the Senior Communications & Digital Engagement Manager, the Assistant Communications & Digital Engagement Manager will execute the annual press and influencer strategy for NARS Cosmetics in order to increase EMV PR rankings and brand engagement with the aim to enhance awareness within the industry.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
MEDIA/INFLUENCER RELATIONS
- Supporting the Senior Communications & Digital Engagement Manager, to achieve annual KPIs and ranking increases YoY
- Cultivate and maintain strong influencer and press relationships achieving strong ROI on coverage
- With the Senior Communications & Digital Engagement Manager, support the execution of influencer strategies (seeding and events both local and Global) with the goal of driving EMV and sales with key retail partners
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders and support on paid-for campaigns with influencers
- Assist with the execution of PR & Communications initiatives, including product launches & strategic events
- Identify opportunities to target new influencers and generate social media coverage in new and unique ways
- Manage image and sample requests with the support of the Communications & Digital Engagement Coordinator
PRESS OFFICE
- Take ownership of PR monitoring & reporting, overseeing the Communications & Digital Engagement Coordinator in tracking and monitoring coverage, as well as contributing to the monthly editorial reports and press launch reports
- Work with Communications & Digital Engagement Coordinator to manage the timely send out of all press mailers to all lead times
- Organise Press and Influencer seeding, events and Global trips (travel / accommodation) alongside Senior Communications & Digital Engagement Manager and with Global contacts.
- Supporting with annual budget alongside Senior Communications & Digital Engagement Manager, to ensure that all PO's are raised and receipted on a monthly basis
- Demonstrate strategic capabilities to work creatively, commercially and editorially to suit the needs of the business i.e. identifying the correct titles per launch strategy to generate maximum commercial ROI.
- Supporting the Senior Communications & Digital Engagement Manager, work to achieve annual editorial coverage and business KPIs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong press relationships, influencer relationships and makeup artist contacts.
- Manage the execution of PR & Communications initiatives, including product launches & strategic events.
- Day-to-day liaison with Global and EMEA teams, including delivery of all required assets
- Draft all event recaps for approval by the Senior Communications & Digital Engagement Manager
- Provide in-depth monthly Influencer engagement analysis using available analysis systems. Proven experience with Tribe Dynamics and DMR or similar analysis tools preferable
- Provide the UK, Global and EMEA teams with competitive analysis on influencer engagement
- Management of the Communications & Digital Engagement Coordinator to:
- Manage PR cupboard stock and pre series for new launches
- Manage all press send outs and new launch mailouts
- Ensure that all contact databases are constantly up-to-date
PROFILE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Solid proven experience in Beauty PR including strong relationships with online press and influencers.
- Excellent understanding of social media sphere with a solid knowledge of leading UK influencer strategies
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to think strategically and act independently to drive brand goals.
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and work under short deadlines whilst quickly identifying priorities and sticking to deadlines.
- Budget Management and understanding of SAP ideal but not a requirement
- A good understanding of the beauty industry with a high level of creative energy and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Experience across luxury, skincare, colour and fragrance pillars specifically
