About the role:

As Integration Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all integration activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting cross-functional teams to achieve integration goals.

Providing leadership and oversight to drive the integration process, you will be addressing challenges and facilitating communication among stakeholders to align with the company's strategic objectives. You will contribute to the enhancement of integration protocols and best practices, implementing lessons learned from previous integrations to improve future processes and outcomes.

Effective communication and engagement with all stakeholders will be crucial, ensuring alignment and accountability. Acting as a liaison between various teams and stakeholders, you will foster a collaborative integration environment. You will provide substantial support to Workstream Leads in executing integration plans and addressing issues.

Due to the nature of this role, travel will be required to both Head Office in Cheltenham and to acquiring offices.

About you:

You have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and internal policies, ensuring compliance throughout the integration process. Having prior experience in developing and refining integration protocols and best practices, you are able to take feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve future processes.

With a proactive approach you identify and mitigate potential risks or challenges early, as well as addressing integration challenges across all service lines and support functions ensures seamless and efficient operations.

You are a strong collaborator, working closely with workstream leads and internal teams to resolve issues promptly. With excellent communication skills you are able to establish and maintain clear, transparent channels among stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, clients, and vendors. Using these skills you can provide regular updates and reports on integration progress, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and aligned.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the enhancement of integration protocols and best practices.• Ensure all integration activities comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to internal policies.
  • Utilise project management tools to monitor integration performance, track milestones, and manage risks.
  • Facilitate effective communication and engagement with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Provide substantial support to Workstream Leads in executing integration plans and addressing issues.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including People, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Operations, to facilitate a smooth integration process.
  • Ensure all integration activities align with the company's strategic objectives and contribute to the overall acquisition strategy.
  • Assist in the creation of comprehensive plans detailing timelines, milestones, and key performance indicators.
  • Act as a liaison between various teams and stakeholders to foster a collaborative integration environment.
  • Report on integration progress, highlighting potential risks or challenges and providing solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant regulations and internal policies to guide integration efforts.
  • Implement lessons learned from previous integrations to improve future processes and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of integration protocols and best practices based on feedback and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the integration process.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or challenges early.
  • Collaborate closely with workstream leads and internal teams to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Define timelines, milestones, and KPIs to evaluate the success of integration efforts.
  • Proactively address integration challenges across all service lines and support functions.
  • Continuously monitor integration progress using project management tools and metrics.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance future integration processes.

Essential skills and experience

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation.
  • A positive, delivery-focused approach with a "rolled-up sleeves" mentality.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Teams, Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Aligned Project Certifications - Prince 2 / PMI or others.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in delivering projects in Financial Services.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience

Desirable skills and experience

  • Educated to degree level would be an advantage.
  • Experience working within Financial Services.
  • Experience of business/systems integration is strong desireable.
