Person specification
Essential & Desirable
Essential criteria
- Relevant professional qualification RMN or educated to degree level or equivalent demonstrable experience in a health or social care setting
- Experience of working with service users in the health & social care field
- Experience of managing staff, or demonstration of leadership at a different level.
- Experience as Team Leader
- Experience of working with dual diagnosis patients
Desirable criteria
- Introductory Certificate In First Line Management or equivalent
- Experience and knowledge of working with offender health.
- Knowledge of specialist needs of service users within the prison environment and criminal justice systems.
- Ability to deliver training packages/programmes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of policy and legislation around men in a custodial setting.
Essential & Desirable
Essential criteria
- Experience of leading on, implementing, and monitoring a service development
- Experience of managing complex situations and competing priorities, in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Knowledge of the evidence based practice that underpins the delivery of Substance Misuse and Mental Health Services
- Ability to motivate and lead others in order to achieve service objectives
- Willing to attend further training/education
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of working within a criminal justice setting
- Understanding health & justice performance indicators
- Evidence of physical health training
- Further professional studies undertaken within current scope of practice
- Lead as champion in an area
