The Role
As the agency grows its performance capabilities, the Integrated Performance Planning Manager will play a crucial role in helping to develop Performance media plans and strategy across their client portfolio. This role is cross-channel and includes channels such as Paid Social, Programmatic, Paid Search, and Retail Media.
This role requires a strong understanding of where each channel sits within the conversion funnel and how we can create media plans and strategy to surpass our client's business objectives. Individuals in this role have experience in digital strategy and planning and will support in creating comprehensive digital media plans and solutions which meet our client's business objectives. They will be responsible for delivery in communicating these plans to ensure clients sign off.
This role requires strong communication skills to actively engage with client stakeholders, T&Pm's client teams, the wider Performance Practice, GroupM Nexus and media/technology owners to ensure the best technology and channel development is considered when creating digital strategy, media plans and maturity frameworks.
You will support in planning discussions with clients and internal teams, while also demonstrating strong workflow management skills for Integrated Performance Planning Executives.
Collaborating closely with the Integrated Performance Planning Director and Performance Activation counterparts, the Integrated Performance Planning Manager will support in championing a truly AI audience first planning approach for clients. They will support the continuous development and maturity of our digital strategies through a test-and-learn, fostering knowledge sharing and best practice documentation across the agency.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring all information is delivered by the client in order to build best-in-class Performance media plans.
- Responsible for liaising with the Activation department; by extracting data, insights and previous learnings to help create AI audience first Performance planning tactics across platforms such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic and Retail Media.
- Responsible for the delivery of best-in-class cross-channel media plans, in order to hit our client's business objectives.
- Responsible for the delivery of integrated Performance media strategy across all Performance media channels.
- Responsible for the development and progress of client and channel maturity frameworks across all Performance media channels.
- Responsible for "incremental test & learn frameworks", across all clients, are created with clear timings and expected outcomes aligned to client's business objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring communication to clients is clear in all stages of digital campaign delivery.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of workflow tools and processes, between your Integrated Planning and Activation teams.
- Responsible for the delivery of post campaign analyses, built with with actionable insights and recommendations and delivered to the highest quality.
- Responsible for the implementation of the various proprietary and third-party tools within the planning and reporting phases whilst understanding the different strengths & limitations of each.
- Work closely with key Media partners on product developments, testing opportunities and account growth opportunities.
- Build relationships with key senior media and technology partners to ensure technology is at the forefront of what we are doing.
- Responsible for utilising benchmarks across all platforms within the planning and reporting stages.
- Responsible for managing workloads of Integrated Performance Planning Executives.
- Responsible for great work being captured and shared to the wider teams.
- Supporting in entering award worthy case studies into the most prestigious awards that the industry has to offer.
- Responsible for financial accuracy through the planning & buying process and its timely delivery.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in creating digital media plans across a digital channel. Willingness to learn to plan across platforms such as Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic and Retail Media.
- Activation experience across one or multiple digital channels desirable
- Ensure certifications across all activation platforms are completed and up-to-date.
- Strong experience of client servicing is a must.
- Strong communication and story-telling skills.
- Track record of managing workload.
