Job Description
THE TEAM
The Intake Planning team are integral to the success of ASOS.com. The inbound flows from our global sources to our fulfilment centres are an complex and involve most functions throughout the business. Our team align all stakeholders, translating the commercial intake needs of the business into a coordinated plan for the operations teams, to deliver company intake plans.
THE ROLE
- The Intake Planning Manager leads in managing intake forecasts versus target and capacity globally.
What you'll be doing...
- Leading the Intake Planning Team to deliver accurate, timely visibility on inbound volumes.
- Manage the processes to prioritise critical product into the business.
- Stakeholder management across commercial and supply chain
- Driving forward the development and implementation of the new inbound management system.
- Circulating and escalating intake information to stakeholders as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to improve and elevate the Intake Planning team
- Writing and providing training for new intake stakeholders.
- Developing and training intake planning team
- Managing a high performing team
- Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies
Qualifications
We'd love to meet someone who...
- 3-5 years experience in intake planning
- Ideally experience of implementing new systems
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- The ability to prioritise based on a good understanding of Commercial activities
- Excellent time management, with the ability to effectively manage their own workload and communicate confidently and openly with others
- An approachable and flexible working style
- The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a variety of different teams; including Buying and Merchandising, Supply Chain, 3rd Party Carriers and Operations
