Job Title: Property Inspections Manager
Location: Regional - Home Based
Working as part CBRE's UK Property Management business the Property Inspections Managers role is to coordinate the delivery of inspections throughout the UK. You will manage a team of commercial property inspectors who are based throughout the UK to ensure our buildings are inspected in a timely and accurate fashion.
Hours
- Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 17.00, although flexibility with hours may be required on occasion
- Role will be homebased with travel between properties throughout the week.
- Expected that periodic overnight stays will be required due to the location of some properties
Key Responsibilities
- Represent CBRE and our clients to a high standard when conducting inspections
- Complete inspections in accordance with SOP's and policies
- Record all inspection findings within CBREs inspection tools
- Checking and reporting on condition, damages and disrepair
- Checking and reporting of safety and fire hazards and environmental issues
- Driving a company vehicle safely and to a high standard
- Reporting to the Property Manager promptly any areas of concerns noted, including tenant breaches.
Person Specification
- People management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships
- Experienced in prioritising and co-ordinate tasks efficiently
- Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to work alone
- Understanding of leases and legal documents and the ability to interpret in relation to repair and other clauses
- Full clean UK driving license
- MRICS qualified, preferable but not essential
