As Insight Assistant Manager, you will be a key member of the team that supports and enables our work with Government & Public Services clients. You will work closely with an Insight Director, a marketing team and colleagues across the firm to deliver primary and secondary research on public sector issues - turning that research into high-impact content that engages audiences in government, public services, the media and academia.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing high-quality research on issues relevant to the public sector, using primary and secondary research techniques.
- Developing content to engage public sector clients including articles, infographics, slides, reports and social media posts.
- Connecting with colleagues across Deloitte to develop and deliver communications plans that successfully deploy our research and engage audiences in the public sector market.
- Engaging with the Deloitte Insights and other internal communities to seek collaboration opportunities and ensure compliance in firm protocols.
- Liaising with colleagues in other Deloitte member firms around the world and supporting the use of their insight in the UK market.
- Supporting internal stakeholders through producing research or content that drives internal engagement or informs decision-making within the firm.
- Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
Connect to your skills and professional experience
- Experience in research or a related field, preferably with a public body, consultancy, think tank or academia
- Exceptional communications skills including a high standard of writing.
- Experience of producing content, preferably in relation to the public sector.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrable understanding of at least one sector of government and public services in the UK.
- Proven ability to work as part of multiple teams and with multiple stakeholders, in a fast-paced-environment.
- Understanding and experience of social media.
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external networks.
- Experience of MS Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant packages.

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
