We are on the hunt for an Innovation Manager with a pioneering spirit to join our FinTech Lab team and play a crucial role in Building a better working world. Your key responsibilities
The Innovation Manager will be responsible for:
- Growing the FinTech Labs' network of FinTech solution partners / collaboration options. You will drive direct identification and engagement with the best and brightest FinTech solutions from the Market. Ensure that the EY FinTech Lab is positioned as the partner of choice for growing and scaling FinTechs
- Business Development. Develop high value relationships with internal stakeholders and pitch directly to Clients. Shape and develop opportunities and ensure that the awareness and demand for our Lab offerings continues to grow
- Take a lead on developing and delivering new high value Innovation product offerings / assets and develop business collateral which engage and develop opportunities
- Conversion - be commercially focussed and ensure the Lab is continuing to both support the wider business in revenue creation and generating direct return for Lab
Skills and attributes for success
As a FinTech Lab Innovation Manager:
- You will be passionate about Innovation and Technology and have a clear desire to explore the new FinTech and developing market propositions that will help shape the future of financial services
- You will be able to demonstrate a solid network (Client / Internal / FinTech) and have at least one specific area of Domain Expertise aligned to our EY key Sectors
- You will be outcome driven with a focus and tenacity to challenge and improve standard ways of working - and have the commitment and resilience to drive success
- A self-starter and able to work with a high degree of autonomy and with a consistent focus on the value stream
- Flexible and able to support across the range of Lab activities as required
- Can do attitude and willingness to contribute
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Existing Internal / Client Network and domain expertise in one of our key EY Sectors (BCM / Insurance / WAM)
- Proven ability to shape and develop high quality proposals with appetite and ability to deliver and present ideas to internal / external stakeholders
- Self-starter who is comfortable working in a growing team that has a startup mindset
- Clear interest and understanding of FinTech domains and emergent Tech Trends
Ideally, you'll also have
- Connections with some FinTechs
- Understanding of Innovation functions - and ideas around what best in class innovation capabilities offer
