Injection Mould Manager in Stevenage
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Injection Mould Manager in Stevenage to join the moulding department of a well-established engineering company. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role, managing a small team of Injection Mould Setters and ensuring smooth, efficient operations on the shop floor.
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 41.5 hours per week + overtime available
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations within the Injection Moulding department
- Supervise and support a small team of Injection Mould Setters
- Ensure high-quality production using Arburg and Demag machines
- Maintain production schedules and ensure output targets are met
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain health and safety standards across the team
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience managing a team of Injection Mould Setters
- Strong understanding of injection moulding processes
- Familiarity with Arburg and Demag machinery
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Good general IT skills
