What you'll be doing
As the IT Infrastructure Security and Resilience Manager at Paragon Bank, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring Paragon's infrastructure is secure and resilient. Your responsibilities will include:
- Team Management: Overseeing a team of 2 Security Analysts indirectly with a Team Leader as a direct report.
- SOC Performance Management: Ensuring that our Outsourced SOC provide and internal analysist deliver a best in call security operations service and acting as a key point of escalation for incidents.
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee the vulnerability management programme for infrastructure and cloud technologies ensuring identification and mitigation within acceptable timeframes whilst also driving a continual improvement initiative
- Obsolescence Management: Ensuring a horizon plan is created and maintained for all obsolescence under the Infrastructure and Cloud remit in line with budget cycles to ensure any obsolescence is known and planned for.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Taking ownership of DR planning for Infrastructure technologies, working closely with other IT stakeholders to ensure and clear DR roadmap is created and delivered against ensuring the right resources and 3rd parties are aligned in a timely manner.

What you'll bring to the team
As well as a combination of technical experience coupled with management ability, you'll need
- Experience in Cyber Security practices (ideally experience managing a 3rd party SOC provider)
- Experience in vulnerability management practices and technology (ideally Tenable)
- Experience in managing end-of-life processes in relation to hardware, software and cloud services would be desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in line managing technical engineers
- Strong interpersonal abilities with excellent proficiency in written and oral communication
- Ability to work under pressure, taking the lead on critical issues to ensure a fast resolution whilst managing key stakeholders
- Proactively analyse potential risks and manage their mitigation in alignment with Paragon's risk framework.

About Us
Working hours
37.5 Hours a week through a hybrid model of working driven by the needs of the business. The requirement would be a minimum of one day in the office a week.
