IT Audit and Assurance Manager, you will working within governance and reporting services within our Tech Division, with responsibility for collecting and identifying evidence for weekly, monthly & quarterly assurance checks. This evidence is then handed over to Audit Manger for them to complete the Audit report.
As our Audit & Assurance Manager, you will be a completer/ finisher and be quality and process focussed, with excellent attention to detail, self-motivated, capable of working under minimal supervision and able to prioritise to strict deadlines.
As an IT Audit and Assurance Manager, you will:
- Lead the Group Technology Services (GTS) engagement with Internal and External Audit, and provision of Quality Assurance across all key IT controls
- Represent GTS' interests in audit related meetings.
- Support the production of Audit governance and reporting, ensuring data is accurate and reports are produced to the agreed standards and timeline.
- Support GTS stakeholders on re-occurring monthly audit actions and reports.
- Support with Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) documents and reporting.
- Produce evidence for weekly, monthly & quarterly assurance checks.
- Assist colleagues with writing white papers on behalf of GTS for formal boards and committees.
- Be point of liaison with external Auditors and assist the GTSCOD with all documentation and communications.
- Support the Governance Reporting & Risk Manager with any risk related activities and reporting.
- Drive efficiencies within GTS the providing training and understanding of Audit and Assurance and how it is an operational responsibility of all colleagues at every level.
- Be the liaison between Cyber & Operations, Audit Risk and Assurance activities and 1b, ensuring communication between all parties and ensuring the GTSCOD and Technical Assurance Manager a kept fully updated on all requirements and communications
