Infrastructure Delivery Manager

About the Role
You will operate as Team Leader for key transport projects, providing specialist skills on the programming and development of major transport schemes with particular regard to technical justification, funding and programming. The job will also manage the development and delivery of the capital programme of transport works and analyse and report on the transport aspects of major development sites within the broader planning framework, to ensure that schemes are properly planned and programmed to provide for the continuous, effective and efficient improvement of the transport networks.
You will have
- Experience of project management of complex transport projects
- Proven extensive experience of technical analysis of transport schemes and their progression from inception to the completion of statutory and justification processes
- Broad experience of traffic management, transport planning and civil engineering and development planning
- Demonstrable experience of Transport Assessments, at a senior technical level, and their principles, critical review and challenge
- Knowledge of traffic modelling, traffic management and traffic planning techniques
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Highway Law, Planning Law, Statutory Procedures and other relevant legislation, policies, standards and practices relating to highways
- Significant knowledge of national, and corporate, standards and guidance relating to highway authority duties and transport scheme approval processes
- Knowledge of Transport Assessments and their preparation, review, challenge and implementation
