Job Description

The Data Engineering Sr Manager is responsible for leading IT Data Engineering and development functions, projects and/or programs, along with IT leaders and teams through direct and/or indirect leadership and based on the needs of the IT and Data organizations.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineering Sr Manager is responsible for leading IT Data Engineering and development functions, projects and/or programs, along with IT leaders and teams through direct and/or indirect leadership and based on the needs of the IT and Data organizations. The role is responsible for developing and implementing Data and Analytic strategies aligned with business objectives, evaluating, and selecting hardware and software solutions, and managing IT projects from initiation to completion. The role establishes and enforces IT policies and procedures, ensures compliance with data privacy regulations, and implements robust security measures to protect the organization's digital assets. The role also involves budgeting and resource allocation, vendor management, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT team.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or commensurate experience. Master's degree in related field is preferred.
