Job Title: Product Manager

Sector: Hybrid/Virtual Events

Location: Head Office (London)/Home Based

Flexible Working Category: C - 3 days in the office/ 2 days remote per week

Role Description

Working closely with the Senior Project Manager to support the development and execution of the product strategy, the Product Manager assists in gathering and analysing feedback, prioritising and defining features, and ensuring roadmap alignment with business objectives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Organise incoming requests (changes, features and improvements) from multiples sources both inside and outside the business
  • Make and maintain the roadmap and backlog by engaging with stakeholders to prioritise or reject the incoming requests
  • Write requirements / scopes for approved requests and get consensus and approvals with stakeholders for requirements
  • Manage detailed ticket creation for requests
  • Assist in communicating priorities to business and creating release notes
  • Assist in sprint planning and sprint management

Additional Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for own performance, responsibilities, and work-ethic
  • Attend assigned training and development sessions
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings
  • Fully participate in Performance Appraisal systems - goals, feedback, assessments, QPRs and appraisals
  • Adhere to organisation-wide policies, procedures and processes

  • Maintain courteous and professional relationships with all colleagues, clients and other internal and external stakeholders

Role Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of the product roadmap
  • Skilled in gathering and writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to work in SCRUM teams
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and fast paced development
  • Excellent communication skills, including motivating and influencing product team members
  • Desirable to have some experience in events
  • Ability to build and develop positive client working relationships
  • Flexible and adaptable work-ethic
  • A highly organised and proactive person
  • Passion for new and exciting technology
  • Experience in training and supporting others
