What you'll be doing

As an Independent Model Validation Manager, you will be:

• Reviewing & challenging the development, implementation and ongoing use of the Bank's most important models
• Preparing and presenting detailed analytical reports critiquing the model developments and model enhancements
• Developing our analytical infrastructure
• Assessing compliance of the models against regulatory standards i.e. IRB and IFRS 9
• Supporting the Independent Validation team and the wider Model Oversight team

About You

What you'll bring to the team

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in statistical modelling and/or analytics in a commercial environment
• Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills
• Good understanding of R or similar statistical package
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Awareness of the credit risk customer journey
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
