Inbound Marketing Strategist (Outsourced Digital Marketing Manager)

  • Do you love turning marketing data into actionable campaigns?
  • Are you goal-focused in everything you do?
  • Do you relish in the glory of your ideas creating results for clients?

About you

My client is seeking an Inbound Consultant to plan, manage and execute lead generation campaigns for their B2B clients. Consultants are natural problem-solvers. They take time to understand their clients' industries, and how to get under the skin of their target personas to develop intellectually and emotionally engaging campaigns.

You don't need to be a data scientist to succeed. Instead, you have the confidence and experience to cut through the analytics noise to identify key narratives in the data, and understand which levers you can pull to achieve the result.

You are:

  • Imaginative and naturally inquisitive
  • Purposeful and good at making things happen
  • Proactive and able to anticipate problems and opportunities
  • Able to motivate people and align them to achieve a goal
  • Responsible - you care about your work
  • Organised and good at communicating with colleagues and clients at every level of seniority.

Ultimately, the right candidate has the skill set and mentality to proactively drive results for their clients. During the interview process, we will want to talk to you about the results you've achieved previously, the challenges you've faced, and how you overcame them.

Requirements

About the Marketing Team

Everyone in the marketing team knows they are more than the sum of all parts. They are lucky to have people with different skills and backgrounds to collaborate with. You should see this as an opportunity to learn, improve your skills, and better your client's results.

They are not a production line. They don't complete their work and hand it over to the next person in the factory. They work together as a team, united around a purpose. As a Consultant, you have the chance to define and drive that purpose.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team leader to set goals and marketing strategies/campaigns.
  • Plan and manage these campaigns, knowing how to pivot when needed!
  • Work with specialists to plan and prioritise day-to-day work and ensure high quality.
  • Working inside HubSpot to build and deliver marketing campaigns.
  • Recommend and implement experiments to achieve clients' KPIs.
  • Be your clients' trusted advisor, and be proactive with ideas.
  • Report on the performance of your campaigns internally and externally.
  • Monitor the client's competitors and target market movements.

Great inbound marketing results come from understanding the buyer and balancing creativity with the ability to organise and manage campaigns to fruition. You will demonstrate practical skills and know-how of content marketing, social media, SEO, CRO, and personalised marketing techniques to deliver impressive campaign ROI.
