We're now looking for an Inbound First Line Manager to lead and coordinate goods-in operations, ensuring the efficient, accurate, and safe receipt and processing of stock within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- To oversee inbound operations, managing the intake of high volumes of stock, including deliveries, palletisation, put-away, and accurate booking into the warehouse management system
- To lead and coordinate a team of operatives, delegating tasks and monitoring performance to ensure operational targets are met
- To track and report on inbound KPIs, delivering regular updates, team briefings, and ensuring clear communication of performance expectations
- To maintain high standards of Health & Safety across all inbound activities, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment
- To carry out HR Management responsibilities, including 1:1s, performance reviews, absence management, and disciplinaries, while driving engagement and continuous improvement within a fast-paced warehouse environment
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Proven experience managing or supervising teams within a warehouse environment, ideally with exposure to inbound operations and high-volume stock intake
- Strong understanding of goods-in processes, including deliveries, palletisation, put-away, and accurate stock control
- Strong IT literacy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to lead, delegate, and motivate teams, with experience managing performance and driving productivity in a fast-paced setting
- Confident communicator with experience delivering briefings, reporting on KPIs, and engaging effectively with team members and stakeholders
