This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives in global supply chains by helping deliver our Human Rights strategy. To be successful, you'll bring some previous experience in human rights or ethical trade, ideally within a corporate or supply chain setting, along with the confidence to work with complex data and diverse stakeholders. What you'll do

  • Deliver key elements of the M&S Food Human Rights strategy, focusing on our 'protect' pillars and supporting 'enhance' programmes over time.
  • Manage the M&S worker voice programme, collaborating with delivery partners and suppliers to embed insights into programming.
  • Support the Human Rights Due Diligence process, including supplier communication, assessment and progress tracking.
  • Support with issue management, investigation processes and close out and responsible for management of monitoring system
  • Work across defined product categories to identify and mitigate human rights risks, supporting technical and commercial colleagues in those category areas and engaging with suppliers
  • Engage with stakeholders and integrate supplier performance data into reporting and due diligence processes.

Who you are

  • Passionate about business and human rights
  • Some experience in human rights or ethical trade, ideally within a corporate or supply chain context.
  • Skilled in analysing and synthesising quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator, able to build relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
