About the job

We currently have an opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our existing experienced team.

Location: Cheltenham or Hereford

What do we look for in a Site Reliability Engineer?

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll showcase your expertise by deploying new solutions in challenging environments and enhancing existing platforms. You embrace the "MVP" approach, building incrementally and learning quickly from failures. You love tinkering and discovering innovative solutions. You're comfortable sharing ideas with both your team and our customers. You're eager to learn new technologies and step out of your comfort zone, with full support from us!

We value the right tools and technologies to deliver the best for our customers. While expertise and knowledge in all these tools is not required, we appreciate experience with similar technologies and an understanding of their value. Currently, we use Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Terraform, Ansible, and languages like Go, Bash, and Python. These tools manage and deploy to our Cloud (Azure / AWS) and On-Prem environments.

You'll join a small, high-performing team that supports you from day one and throughout your journey with us. The challenges you'll tackle are unique, whether due to security needs or location constraints, offering you a chance to make a significant impact.

We are committed to your professional growth, offering continuous learning opportunities, mentorship, and the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies. Your development is our priority, and we provide the time and support you need to thrive and advance in your career.

You should apply if:

You care about the impact your work has on our customers and optimise for impact rather than the number of lines of code you output. You should apply if:

  • You care about customer outcomes, and you want to know and understand who we work with.
  • You love finding new ways to solve problems.
  • You're comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity.
  • You like spending a few days a week physically with the team.
