THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Leadership:

• Imagine owning the growth of our London hubs. You'll develop and execute comprehensive plans to not just meet, but exceed, ambitious revenue, profit, and market share goals. Oversee every facet of hub operations, from leasing and fleet management to inventory, logistics, and customer experience. You'll own the P&L, managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximising profitability. This is about building something extraordinary.

People Management:

• Building a dream team starts with you. You'll recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of mechanics, technicians, and customer service representatives. Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and unlock opportunities for growth. You'll oversee team scheduling, payroll, and other HR functions, empowering your team to do their best work.

Customer Experience:

• Crafting an unparalleled customer experience is paramount. You'll ensure every interaction, from initial inquiry to ongoing support, is exceptional. Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, both individual couriers and B2B clients. Resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.

Operations Management:

• Seamless operations are the foundation of our success. You'll manage all aspects of our London operations, including fleet maintenance, repairs, and logistics. Oversee inventory management, optimising stock levels and minimising costs. Maintain a safe and compliant operating environment, exceeding all relevant regulations and safety standards. This is about operational excellence.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Retail Area Manager or similar role in a fast-paced, tech-focused retail environment.
• Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve performance targets.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Passion for technology and innovation.
• Proficiency in POS systems and other relevant software.
