We have a great opportunity to join the education team at HMP Durham as a Hub Manager, offered on a permanent basis, working 22.2 hours per week.
What the role entails
As Hub Manager at HMP Durham, you will be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day running, management and delivery of curriculum areas within an establishment, working directly with the Local Education Manager and the prison Governor's representatives. This role will be the first line manager for delivery colleagues within the prison.
What we need from you
To be successful in the role of Hub Manager, you will need:
- Experience in implementing and managing continuous quality assurance and improvement procedures
- Successful partnership working
- Teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
- Degree or equivalent (including equivalent life/career experience)
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
- TAQA Internal Verifier award / V1 or equivalent desirable but not essential
- Level 4 or equivalent subject specialism or vocational qualification desirable but not essential
