Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: Milton Keynes - MK9 1EA

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. (Flexibility required across weekend from time to time, however rare)

Hybrid - 50-75% Travel involved in role, remainder would be hybrid working.

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to play a vital role ensuring continuous development and execution of Health and Safety across the business.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, you will

• Take responsibility for the full scope of HSE activities and carry out regular review
• Programme management of H&S data through PowerBi - data reporting, presentation and trend analysis
• Stakeholder management and plan for external H&S training (IIRSM Risk Management & SMART Handling)
• Responsible for EOS results management and ensuring continued communication and networking with HSL HSE Community
• Provide training and development in order to ensure risk assessments and safe systems of work are developed and maintain
• Ensure accident investigations are completed in a timely manner and actions are implemented to prevent reoccurrence at the sit
• Create and maintain short, medium and long term Health and Safety improvement plans and manage the implementation of Health and Safety initiatives across the business

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Hold a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent is essential.
• Exceptional understanding of all relevant H&S regulations applicable to warehouse environment
• Experience on DHL Systems would be a bonus, IE Logics, Smart Ops & System Related activity (Desirable)
• IT Literate, with Microsoft office packages
• Keen eye for detail to identify root causes and enable continuous improvement
• Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally
