About The Role
Job Purpose:
- Responsible for ensuring that the site complies with all health, safety and environmental regulations
Key Result Areas / Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement site HSE policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and company guidelines.
- Creation of site SOPs and SSOWs
- Lead and promote a positive safety culture by holding regular workshops and awareness campaigns
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and other safety incidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions.
- Carry out regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
- Maintain necessary reports, logs, and documentation
- Track and monitor safety AFR KPI's and implement continuous improvement programmes.
- Ensure building maintenance is managed in accordance with legal requirements and specifications
- Collaborate with third party contractors to ensure all audits and repairs are carried out as necessary
- Ensure GMP of the site by maintaining hygiene standards

General:
- Be aware of and adhere to BrewDog policies and the Workplace Code at all times
- Take part in crew reviews throughout the year
- Cooperate with other BrewDog departments to achieve a great experience for our customers, applicants, colleagues, and contractors
- Attend training courses and complete online
training modules as required to meet the
requirements of the role - Take responsibility for own personal development, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills
- Undertake any other duties as requested which are reasonably deemed to be within the scope of the role or necessary for the smooth running of the business
- Apply the BrewDog charter and behaviours to every aspect of the role at all times
- Protect and enhance the interests and reputation of BrewDog internally and externally
About You
Qualifications & Specific Training:
- NEBOSH - Health & Safety at Work is Desirable
- IOSH - Managing Safely is Essential
Experience:
- Substantial experience in Health & Safety / Facilities Management role, preferably within a FMCG environment
Skills:
- Outstanding attention to and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Great communication and interpersonal skills written & verbal
- Confident in delivering one on one or group training
- Leadership and influence on cultural changes
Personal Attributes:
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Ability to take ownership of personal development and individual learning
- Can work independently
- Resolute and dependable with positive attitude
Additional Requirements:
- Set shift pattern - Days 08:00-16:00 (Additonal OT maybe required during peak activity)
- Occasional Travel to our HQ in Ellon may be required (Quarterly)
