This role has a starting salary of £32,512 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week. This is an 18-month fixed term contract/secondment opportunity.
We are excited to be hiring a new HR Transactions Senior Officer to join our fantastic team. The team is based in Weybridge, but we promote a hybrid approach to working, meeting 2 days per week in the office.

About the Role
As the HR Transactions Senior Officer, you will leverage your high level of accountability, technical expertise, and customer-centric approach to ensure the smooth execution of HR processes and the effective delivery of front-line services. You will resolve queries from both internal and external stakeholders in accordance with agreed timelines, standards, and procedures. You will also provide guidance and support to junior officers with transactional work, providing assistance with advanced transactional queries and tasks.
This role involves managing payroll transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and performing various administrative tasks. Day to day duties will include accurately entering general payroll data, such as details related to maternity leave and sickness, or calculating and resolving overpayments and underpayments for employees. You will ensure consistency and integrity of data is maintained both within systems (Unit 4 and other supporting systems).
Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:
- Relevant HR, business administration or financial qualification to NVQ Level 3/4, or able to evidence knowledge and understanding of relevant disciplines
- Excellent IT skills
- Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to build sound relationships with customers to improve customer service
- High level administrative/organisational skills
- Ability to handle and resolve complex transactions queries and issues
