£54,472.82 - £59,027.24 Depending on Experience

Norse Group are an industry leading service provider, delivering expertise across property consulting, commercial services and adult social care. We operate through a growing number of joint venture partnerships and commercial businesses with a full professional support function that enables and drives operation service delivery.

Project One has been established to achieve the transformation of the support services functions at Norse. The transformation focuses on elements such as technology, process, data, and people change. The recent implementation of phase one of the project successfully achieved the transformation of the HR, Recruitment and LMS functions at Norse Group. Alongside the implementation & delivery of phase 2 which focuses on Payroll and Workforce Management solutions, we are looking to continue our developments to fully utilise our new Group HR software (Access People XD). As such, we are seeking to recruit a HR Systems Manager to be situated at our head office in Norwich.

The Role:

Reporting to the Group HR Director, as the Systems Manager it will be your responsibility to work collaboratively across a number of our support functions including IT, Finance, Payroll and HR to ensure optimum delivery is achieved throughout our core HR software. This will include overseeing and guiding the delivery of our first line system administration support team. Acting as the Customer Manager for the HR solution, you will actively engage with several internal and external parties to ensure the services are operating efficiently and issues are managed, escalated, and resolved appropriately with our provider. You will therefore be responsible for:

  • Defining, delivering and maintaining integrations into and out of systems.
  • Establishing and reviewing system processes and controls in line with Group policy.
  • Creating and implementing system best practice, including the maintenance of bespoke user guides.
  • Producing accurate and insightful reports for various business areas.
  • Providing oversight and guidance of first line system administration support.
  • Implementing approaches and tool to maintain and improve data integrity.
  • Facilitating HR superusers and business users to develop and implement a rolling plan of system upgrades and enhancements that streamline and automate HR Activities where possible.
  • Relationship management with key suppliers

You will become the subject matter expert across our HR system, acting as the key point of contact for escalations where required alongside driving developments to maximises functionality.

Our Successful Candidate:

Norse Group are a large scale, multi-discipline organisation with various complexities. Therefore, we are looking for you to demonstrate proven working experience within a similar role, covering a variety of support functions. It would be advantageous to demonstrate experience and knowledge of Access HR software (People XD) or another HR solution however, alongside extensive experience it is mandatory that you can demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Commercially aware with a sound knowledge of business objectives.
  • A flexible approach with the ability to work across all levels building internal and external relationships.
  • Proven experience of managing, mentoring, and coaching a team.
  • You will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

The role is being offered on a full time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
