About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our OneER team within the HR generalist function. In this role, you will be the go-to specialist for all Employee Relations matters, providing expert advice and support across Addison Lee's diverse departments. You will work closely with managers and senior leaders, offering proactive coaching and guidance on policies, processes, and best practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with the HR Business Partner on key projects, driving initiatives that enhance our people strategy and employee experience.

Salary
£40,000 - £48,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours
37.5 hours (5 days per week)
Location
This role is based at our head office in Paddington with frequent travel to our West Drayton - UB7 8BQ (once a week), William Road offices - NW1 3EN (two times a month) and E3 site once a month . The role is required to be 4 days in the office.

Requirements
Main Accountabilities
- Advise, guide and coach line managers through matters relating to employee relations within our offices (with cover for other areas of the business where required)
- Effective case management of people related issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, flexible working, redundancies and restructures, TUPE processes, health & wellbeing, absence management, occupational health referrals, mediation referrals
- Work closely with the Talent Partner on the end-to-end onboarding process of new hires ensuring they are still supported once introduced to the organisation
- Manage probation process from end to end.
- Analyse ER activity to ensure ongoing improvement through the production of monthly reports and updates
- Develop effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders across Addison Lee to promote good and consistent employee relation practises.
- Develop and deliver training workshops to line managers to grow and empower them in their people management capabilities in line with Company values.
- Act as a functional expert on all People Standards and Procedures and update when required
- Take ownership and work as a team on various exciting new HR projects
- Have a focus on continuous improvement to ensure the HR team always adds the maximum value, making recommendations where enhancements to the OneER service can be made
- Understand and keep up to date with new employment legislation and to proactively seek out HR initiatives that can be implemented at Addison Lee

Requirements
- Experience of providing support and guidance to people managers using clear and adaptable communication skills
- Demonstrate experience of taking ownership for managing employee relations cases with line managers from start to finish including probations, grievances, disciplinaries and capability issue.
- Demonstrable experience of working in an advisory role within a fast paced HR department with high volumes of employee relations cases
- An ability to interact with and influence people from all departments and at all levels within business is critical
- A desire to continuously improve and develop HR and employment law knowledge and expertise.
- Data driven and analytic approach to managing the ER along with ongoing reporting of key metrics
- Ability and willingness to travel to West Drayton office once a week and Willam Road office twice a month, and the Peterbourough office as an when required
- Interest and enthusiam of providing coaching to managers and senior stakeholders
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or above
- Experience of delivering people management training workshops and being a subject matter expert in employee relations
- Experience of handling maternity, paternity and long-term sickness cases.
