Job title: HR Operations Manager

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:

The HR Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the ER Leadership Teams on a wide span of both planned and reactive activities. These will vary from supporting on the development of and tracking against high level strategy, to the production of detailed and concise briefing documents and packs for both internal and external use

This role would be ideal for someone who is a self-starter, who is building their HR experience and has an interest in Employee Relations

Drive operational effectiveness by tracking progress against a comprehensive Employee Relations objectives plan, providing updates to senior leaders, and using metrics, key performance indicators, and data-driven insights to highlight issues, opportunities, and support business change

Analyse data to generate actionable insights and recommendations, fulfilling reporting requirements on the performance and integration of Employee Relations Centre of Excellence activities

Develop and execute a comprehensive communications and engagement plan to strengthen the profile of the Employee Relations Centre of Excellence, ensuring that stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with its activities, progress, and impact

Coordinate key Employee Relations Centre of Excellence-wide activities, such as talent reviews, team briefings, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring actions and commitments are delivered effectively

Manage the operational planning and budget for the Employee Relations Centre of Excellence, ensuring alignment with approved headcount and financial goals
Your skills and experiences:

Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across various levels

Ability to gather, manage, analyse, and report on qualitative data

Strong interest in project planning, including planning and execution

Able to communicate through storytelling and excellent presentation skills, adapting the content and style to suit varied audiences

Strong eye for detail

You will work closely with senior leaders to align the team’s strategic objectives with the wider Employee Relations function and the organisation’s broader goals. As the CoE continues to evolve, you’ll have the opportunity to bring fresh ideas and help shape the direction of the team.
