HR Onboarding Coordinator

As a HR Onboarding Coordinator, we are looking for someone to:

  • Compile, conduct and monitor background checks for all new starters prior to the start date, using our Vetting partner Experian, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
  • Interpret reports and ensure follow up actions are completed to a high standard, mitigating the company from potential risk. Act as the first point of contact for all on boarding queries
  • Conduct and monitor background checks on existing colleagues, in line with our regulatory obligations
  • Own data input related to the onboarding process, respond to all new starter queries via telephone or email, filing, producing offer letters and checking documentation
  • Build positive and engaging relationships with all key stakeholders, with good lines of proactive communication
  • Supporting the wider People Operations team with colleague lifecycle activity, and management of the HR mail inbox

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience of working in a Colleague Onboarding or Vetting role in a high volume fast paced environment working to deadlines
  • Great rapport building skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to investigate complex queries using a methodical approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft office skills - particularly Excel
