Your Role

As an HR Manager for the UK market you will support Affinity Petcare UK business delivering people related processes and ensuring legal compliance in the operations.

Being part of a matrix organisation you will be an active member of an international HR team, working closely with your teammates in the implementation of the HR strategy in the UK market and you will be responsible for the activation of HR programmes & activities for the different employee collectives in the UK.

As an employee relations expert, you will play a key role in the organisation by ensuring a smooth relationship with the work councils, ensuring an on time payroll process and an updated legal compliance.

Within our international HR team you will collaborate on transversal projects with your peers in Spain, Italy & France providing you with the space to bring new initiatives while developing your professional skills.

Number of employees in the UK: 261. Manufacturing site based in Snetterton.

This is a temporary position of about 9 months.

What you will do

• Be responsible for the HR function in the UK collaborating with your HR peers at international level, ensuring perfect compliance with UK legislation and regulations requirements.

• Be a change agent in the evolution of the company.

• As an expert on labour relations you will ensure a smooth relationship with employees and representatives and legal UK institutions.

• Manage work council's relationships for the UK business and implement regulations of collective agreements.

• Manage the Payroll Process

• Review and adapt HR policies to be in line with Affinity Petcare group guidelines.

• In collaboration with the HR international team, participate in recruitment activities, ensuring the best in class candidate experience in line with Affinity Culture

• Ownership of the local on-boarding process, including contract generation and onboarding full compliance.

• Ensure the implementation at local level of the Affinity Talent process linked to the Performance cycle (Talent assessment and compensation processes) with a close interaction with the HR international team.

• Support and provide assistance and guidance to employees in relation to day to day HR topics and HR policies updates and existing benefits.

• Encourage Affinity's culture implementing engagement programmes and championing best in class employee experience.

• Contribute to data accuracy at all systems and follow up on HR KPIs and detect improvement opportunities and definition of action plans.

• Support the implementation at local level of the Employer Branding strategy defined at global level .

What we are looking for

• + 7 years of experience in a similar role.

• Solid knowledge of employee legislation and its application.

• Ability to work in a matrix environment within an international and multidisciplinary HR Team.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate and influence at all levels.

• Anticipates business and stakeholders needs by maintaining a clear communication and managing their expectations and also being able to express business needs to transversal HR roles to develop HR strategy.

• Willing to leave your footprint in a fast growing international company.

• Spanish would be a plus.
