Salary G12: £50,512 - £56,239 per annum

Our HR Policy, Pay & Reward team are looking for their next manager to provide direction, support and leadership. We are seeking a HR Manager with a strong background in policy, pay, and reward to lead this amazing team and be part of the wider HR management team. You will be an experienced HR professional, with a strategic focus, ability to project manage multiple HR deliverables, have a strong collaborative approach and be insights driven.

You will have a detailed knowledge of employment law, experience of providing senior level HR advice, developing and implementing policies across various HR disciplines and possess advance data analytics and digital skills that you will use to drive forward a range of service improvements and the continued delivery of the Council's Workforce Strategy.

Responsible for innovative policy development and strategic solutions that support Walsall Council to be at the forefront of HR best practice, pending legislative changes and compliance with all statutory requirements.

This pivotal strategic position will provide the opportunity for the ideal candidate to make a significant contribution to our service delivery and will include involvement in a wide range of strategic projects as well as managing operational activity.
