Summary of the role
Allan Webb Ltd is a leading provider of Supportability Services to UK MoD and Industry, delivering engineering, training and P3M services.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior People Partner (Business Partner) to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Business Partnership
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to Senior Managers, Managers and staff
- Support the Head of People on design and implementation of key HR/People initiatives
- Conduct six monthly meetings with Capability Leads and quarterly meetings with line managers
- Provide HR support to wider organisational projects, leading on change management activity
Employee Relations & Performance Management - Support managers in dealing with complex performance, attendance and employee relations issues
- Draw on patterns and issues from employee relation cases and analyse data trends
- Train, coach and support stakeholders on HR policies and procedures
Talent Management & Development - Deliver workforce planning and talent management initiatives
- Support and develop the People Team
- Oversee recruitment alongside the Recruitment Advisor
Compensation & Benefits - Deliver pay and reward initiatives
- Provide relevant and timely payroll information
Policy & Compliance - Review and update HR documentation with Senior People Administrator and Compliance Lead
- Ensure alignment with current legislation

- Review and update documentation to ensure it remains fit for purpose

Skills and Experience
- Minimum CIPD Level 5.
- Experience of HR Business Partnering with senior management teams (3+ years).
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and experience of applying it and advising on best practice HR.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present information in order to build senior management engagement around a range of HR initiatives.
- Ability to influence others.
- A track record of building strong professional relationships and credibility.
- A proven ability in performance management and coaching.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload and meet targets and deadlines.
- Self-motivated.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HR software and tools.
- Ability to analyse a range of data, including statistical information.
