We're looking for an energetic and driven HR Manager to champion our company culture, enhance the employee journey, and ensure our HR practices are visionary, designed for sustainable change.
As an HR Manager, you'll play a vital role in shaping our workplace, acting as a culture ambassador and trusted guide for our employees. You'll lead by example, inspire engagement, and ensure every aspect of the employee lifecycle is delivered to the highest standard-all while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement through utilising people data.
What You'll Do
Employee experience and engagement
- Be a brand ambassador for our culture, embedding company values and fostering a sense of belonging.
- Partner with the Director of People to drive initiatives that amplify employee engagement and reinforce our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Champion internal and external communications to celebrate achievements and promote people-focused initiatives.
- Ensuring success of our new starters through continuous improvement of the onboarding process.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Be a visible, approachable resource for employees, offering expert guidance on employee relations issues.
- Manage absence reporting, ensure fair application of disciplinary processes, and monitor sick pay policies.
- Support grievance and disciplinary processes with confidence and compliance expertise.
Learning & Development
- Execute and grow our learning and development plan, coordinating courses, managing suppliers, and encouraging upskilling through tools like LinkedIn Learning.
- Manage learning licenses, push utilisation and ensure employees have access to resources that fuel their growth.
Reward, Recognition, and Social Activities
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Plan and execute team-building activities, company-wide events, and charity initiatives, creating memorable experiences while keeping budgets in check.
- Manage our benefits programme
What You'll Need
Experience & Expertise
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, best practices, and UK employment law.
- Proven experience supporting disciplinary and grievance processes.
Skills & Attributes
