Position Summary

HR Manager will provide a full range of HR services to the organisation; actively promoting a culture where the people resource is continuously developed and empowered in all areas to achieve a world class business performance.

• Ensure department is responsive to resolving employee issues & concerns. Work continuously to improve the level of customer service provided to internal/external customers.

• Develop recruitment strategies for salaried & hourly employees.

• Assist in addressing needs, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating divisional training initiatives.

• Ensure training is directly related to business goals.

• Oversee Health & Safety programs, including risk management & wellness.

• Act as a strategic Business Partner between Operations & the HR function.

• Increase effectiveness of divisional communication programs.

• Develop & monitor the department budget & business plan.

• Administer all HR policies for the division.

• Ensure adhere to corporate EEO/AAP policies.

• Oversee the role of HR department in employee participations programs.

• Conduct performance evaluations, hiring, training, coaching, period meetings and other associated managerial activities.

• Responsible for acquisitions - HR integration.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 plus years of experience in a similar position in Manufacturing environment, background in aerospace is highly desired.

• Relevant HR qualifications or university degree is required.

• Experience in delivering projects within a trade unionised environment, including (but not restricted to) restructure programmes, change agendas, post TUPE / acquisition activities.

• Appropriate case management at all disciplinary stages, up to and including ET's and all associated legal activities.

• Experience of developing partnerships with senior stakeholders and HR team across various locations.

• Extensive experience of managing complex employee relations issues and casework and managing conflict.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills while exercising sensitivity to the audience.

• Able to work with and maintain high levels of confidentiality, resilience, and calmness under pressure.

• High level of professionalism, diplomacy, sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.

• Self-starter and ability to manage own workload.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-browsers.
