VSL Systems UK Limited is part of VSL International, the specialist civil engineering arm of Bouygues Construction concentrating on the construction and repairs of post-tensioned and cable-stayed structures, foundations and ground engineering.

Reporting to the international HR Director for VSL and the UK MD the purpose of this role will provide an effective and efficient human resources service to VSL UK team, which is currently 125 people strong and growing.

You will be shaping the future of our workforce and driving our people mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trusted Advisor: Be the go-to expert for our management team on all things HR.
• Operational Excellence: Solve HR challenges with finesse and efficiency.
• Strategic HR Management: Oversee critical HR processes ensuring seamless operations.
• Talent Acquisition: Source top talent externally and foster internal mobility to keep our projects staffed with the best.
• Training and Development: Identify and address training needs, nurturing skills for future success.
• Diversity Champion: Drive gender diversity initiatives.
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Monitor key HR metrics and contribute actively to strategic HR discussions.
• Compliance Stewardship: Uphold employment laws and ensure all HR processes are compliant.
• Employee Support: Offer a supportive ear and practical HR solutions to team members facing challenges.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a small HR team to achieve excellence.
• Collaborative Networking: Liaise effectively with HR Shared Services and contribute to HR development initiatives across VSL.

Experience:

• Solid HR Background: Utilise your wealth of HR experience.
• International Exposure: Would be a plus.
