This brand-new role (known internally as HR Consulting Manager) will own and oversee our proposition, ensuring we're firmly future focused and meeting the needs of the business.

As HR Consulting Manager, you'll lead a large team of HR Business Partners and HR Consultants, managing their deployment and prioritisation to align with the business needs and strategic HR projects effectively. The successful candidate will build and maintain a centre of excellence for HR consulting and partnering, ensuring that tools, processes and ways of working are optimised for impactful outcomes. You will work alongside the Strategic HR Business Partneris to understand the people related initiatives the different areas of the company need support with to achieve their strategic objectives and will work closely with other HR Centres of Excellence to understand their developing propositions. You'll also undertake assessments of people plans and strategic workforce plans, identifying trends and sharing insights with key stakeholders for better planning and decision-making.

As part of the HR Management Team, this person will drive improvements in HR services, policies, and processes to enhance the employee experience and support continuous improvement. Building strong relationships with HR leadership and business stakeholders will be essential for effective change management, project delivery, and aligning HR strategies with evolving business needs.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.

About you

A proven leader with strong verbal and written communication skills, you conduct effective interactions with customers and stakeholders. You will excel at building strong relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality. Adept at resolving challenges, including resource constraints and project hurdles, you readily influence and guide stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment throughout the HR partnering process.

In addition you will also demonstrate experience of:

  • Experience of managing employees in a consulting context, including resource allocation, forecasting, and utilisation tracking.
  • A broad HR generalist knowledge
  • Project Management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource deployment.
  • Extensive HR management experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Consulting experience, including business model, project lifecycle, customer engagement, ad service delivery
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems

Holding or working towards a CIPD qualification or equivalent relevant professional qualification would also be beneficial.
