Introduction

The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of HR people initiatives across the Global Functions teams. This role will be responsible for supporting a number of functions across the global organisation, including Technology, Business Operations, Finance and Legal.

This role will support the HR Business Partners in successful implementation and stakeholder engagement across the business with a data-driven mindset. The role is generalist in nature and could encompass Employee Relations, Talent, Reward and Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Processes, standards and tools - Executes the defined HR processes, standards and tools in order to ensure the realisation of the HR functions objectives.
  • Employee Relations - Works with managers to resolve employee issues. Supports building of managerial people capability so that employee relations issues can be prevented. Partners with local market HR teams for any employee relations cases related to employees outside of the UK.
  • Talent - Supports line managers and HRBPs on talent related activities including the Year End Review Process. Works in partnership with the Talent team on nominations for our annual learning experiences.
  • Reward - Supports the HRBPs and line managers on the end-to-end process for Annual Reward processing including Incentive and Salary Review exercises.
  • Performance Development - Supports the managers and the HRBPs in driving an effective approach to performance development.
  • Employee Engagement - Works on projects defined by HRBPs or HR Directors to mobilise commitment and accountability for employee engagement. Supports HRBPs, line leaders and employees in the area of employee engagement.
  • HR Administration - Performs any HR administrative tasks that are not covered by the HR Operations team.
  • Work collaboratively with all areas of the HR function to deliver an exceptional HR service to the business.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Prior experience in a HR advisory role with an understanding of the following centre of excellence cyclical processes: Talent Development, Engagement, Reward and Benefits.
  • Experience of leading end-to-end complex ER cases.
  • Intellectual agility, good quality judgement and collaborative skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to draw insights from data.
  • Well-rounded capability across the full HR spectrum.
  • A good relationship builder, confident and pragmatic, and will have the ability to quickly get to know the people and get things done in an ambiguous and self-starting environment.
  • Experience with Workday would be beneficial.

  • We are flexible in terms of location, but you must be based within a commutable distance from our Manchester or London offices as we operate under hybrid working arrangements and you will be expected to work from the office at least 2 days a week.
