Job Description

*** This is a Home based role with UK travel***

Join us on an exhilarating journey as a Product Manager for NEC Housing, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering cutting-edge products for the Social Housing community. Be part of a dynamic team focused on exceeding customer expectations, maximizing intellectual property, and revolutionizing the sector!

Responsibilities:

• Maximize use of NEC Intellectual Property in Social Housing solutions, revolutionizing the industry.
• Analyze and define customer needs, ensuring our Housing products exceed expectations.
• Provide product specifications, support build and test activities, with a focus on Asset Management and Compliance Modules.
• Drive Agile teams, leveraging Kanban approach and maximizing the use of Rave.
• Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers and manage requirements effectively.
• Engage with end users through User Groups and Special Interest Groups.
• Support Pre-Sales/Sales team with bid responses, proposals, and quotations.
• Deliver impactful sales/technical presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support product launch, driving its success.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Experience in UK Public Sector Housing, either as a customer or software solution provider.
• Strong knowledge of project life-cycle, methodologies, and delivering projects on time and budget.
• Experience in defining product enhancements, UI/UX design, and Agile new product development.
• Significant experience with Asset Management and Compliance Modules.
• Familiarity with Social Housing sector and implementing HMS solutions.

Desirable:

• Technical background or knowledge in relevant areas.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships and understand client perspectives.
• Effective time management and resource allocation.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Full, valid UK/EC driving license for travel.
• Experience in end-to-end product life cycle management.
• Familiarity with Digital First strategy in the Social Housing Sector.
• Advanced skills in Digital Solutions, including mobile apps and web platforms.
• Proficiency in Agile development tools like Figma, JIRA, Slack, and MIRO.
