About the role:
To work as part of the hotel team to deliver and maintain a first rate guest experience through the focus on the delivery of market leading customer service.
To add value to the efficient and profitable running of your hotel in order to achieve your business and personal objectives, along with those of your team and the hotel.

marketplace.
What you’ll be doing:
To work as part of a busy team to deliver a first rate guest experience through the focus on the cleanliness and maintenance of standards throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas of the hotel.
- Maintaining strict health and safety standards.
- Supporting the implementation of changes to ensure continuous innovations and improvements are made within the team.
- Supporting other areas of the hotel operation when needed.
- Safe use of housekeeping tools and chemicals including; vacuum cleaners, mops and cleaning materials.
- Although task focused, our Housekeeping Assistants also need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills throughout their day. Ensuring every interaction our guests have are positive ones which will see them return time and time again.
Essential skills/experience you'll need
- Self-motivated a ready to work alone when needed.
- Have a great attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- Able to work under time pressure.
- Good computer literacy skills.
Desirable skills/experience you may have
- Experience in a hotel/hospitality environment is welcomed but not essential. We'll give you the training you need to perform at your best, everyday.

About Odney Club:
If you are looking for a hotel with something different and some history to work in, then The Odney Hotel, our Place by the River could be for you. This is a beautiful and unique John Lewis Partnership owned hotel, set in 130 acres by the River Thames in Cookham, Berkshire. It offers both character and charm to our guests.
The guests can stay in one of 5 beautiful houses on the site, each maintaining the period look of it’s time with access to the picturesque grounds including a private stretch of river, water gardens, a pool and sports facilities. The main building Lullebrook Manor and it’s grounds are thought to have been the inspiration for the classic novel The Wind in The Willows bringing history along with relaxation.
Relaxation can be further achieved with a visit to our Serenity Spa, offering beauty treatments and massages or afternoon tea on the terrace, a drink in the bar or a meal overlooking the river.
