We're offering a unique opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to take the reins as Hotel Manager in the newly refurbished DoubleTree by Hilton, located within the dynamic Coventry Building Society Arena.

Whether you're an experienced hotel leader or stepping into management for the first time, this role offers the chance to shape guest experiences, drive commercial success, and lead a high-performing team in a multifaceted hospitality environment.

As Hotel Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of the hotel's guest experience. Following a major refurbishment, this is a transformational moment for the venue-and you'll be at the forefront of bringing its refreshed vision to life.

Job Description

What You'll Be Responsible For

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee all aspects of the rooms division, including Front Office and Housekeeping
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and uphold Hilton's renowned service standards
  • Collaborate with catering teams to enhance food & beverage revenue and quality

Revenue & Strategy

  • Lead the Revenue team to meet performance targets
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to create strategic promotions
  • Analyse market trends and prepare rolling forecasts
  • Identify new business opportunities and monitor yield

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff
  • Foster a culture of excellence aligned with Hilton and company values
  • Conduct regular team communications and performance reviews

Guest Experience & Quality Assurance

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement service improvements
  • Ensure brand standards are consistently met
  • Manage departmental budgets and cost controls
  • Support succession planning and staff development

Compliance & Systems

  • Ensure adherence to Hilton and Venue policies and health & safety regulations
  • Maintain proficiency in Hilton systems and HHonors programme compliance
  • Support cross-departmental operations as needed

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For

Key Attributes & Experience

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to inspire teams
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Front Office or Commercial hotel roles
  • Strong stakeholder management and operational focus
  • Hilton brand experience is a plus

Technical & Operational Competence

  • Proficiency in Hilton systems (OnQ PMS, OnQ R&I, GROW)
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Financial acumen and strategic mindset
  • Data-driven decision-making

  • Excellent communicator and team motivator
  • Resilient, accountable, and calm under pressure
