We're Hiring a Hotel Financial Controls Manager
We're on the lookout for a confident, detail-loving Hotel Financial Controls Manager who's as passionate about coaching people as they are about finance.

So, what will you actually do?
People First (Always!)
- Be a true Atlas role model - living our values and spreading the mission.
- Set clear financial controls across our hotel teams and support them to ensure they stick to them.
- Coach, train and develop others - creating a learning culture where finance doesn't feel scary.
- Work with the Operations Effectiveness Manager to roll out training, SOPs and improvements that last.
- Build action plans when things aren't quite right, and help and support hotels get back on track fast.
- Make sure financial controls evolve alongside our fast-moving business.
Communications Champion
- Be the link between Leicester and our hotels - keeping conversations clear, collaborative and helpful.
- Make sure key messages land well and feedback flows both ways.
Guest Focus
- Engage with our Accounts Receivable customers - helping close out debts and supporting Hotel Managers to manage aged accounts.
- Liaise with OTAs and booking partners to keep commission bookings accurate and in-check, while working alongside finance team colleagues to accurately record commission costs.
- Keep an eye on brand standards and build up a good awareness to optimise performance from our partnerships.
Investor & Insight
- Provide smart reporting and insight around debt and risk - and work across teams to drive results.
- Track corrections and refunds, making sure everything's accurate and appropriate.
- Share coaching and insight to ensure we're protecting our revenue and improving constantly.
Compliance is Key
- Audit our hotels and make sure our financial procedures are being followed.
- Work with the wider finance team to support on both external and internal audits.
And Finally...
- Be flexible, pitch in when needed, and take on other reasonable tasks.
What do we want from you?
- Experience in a multi-site hospitality business
- Experience of working within or as a business partner to the Finance function
- Experience of designing, implementing and monitoring financial controls and processes
- Able to demonstrate achievement of objectives through others
- Ability to demonstrate a curious nature and leverage teams to optimise outcomes
- Creates trust through an open and transparent style
- Collaborative, working across teams to ensure objectives are met
- Strong coaching and mentoring ability
- Articulate and communicative across all levels
- Organised, systematic, logical and can deep dive into a problem and investigate issues
