Business Development Manager & Executives Wanted
30k - 45k plus bonus - depending on experience
9am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday (with some requirements to work outside of these hours)
London office base role

The role of the Business Development manager is to proactively generate sales (in the form of table bookings, special events and private hires) across our portfolio of venues which ranges from restaurants, pubs & bars to unique event spaces. This will include both B2C and B2B sales and requires someone with good knowledge of venue finding agencies and corporate clients.

Main duties;

  • Assist the Sales Director with sales strategies and upcoming plans
  • Proactively develop new enquiries via networking, LinkedIn, re-contacting warm leads, agency development, contacting local corporates etc
  • Attend networking events, arrange FAM trips and client/agency visits to generate new leads and promote the brands
  • Manage key client relationships
  • Use initiative to think outside the box with boosting sales
  • Use sales techniques and closing sales skills on the phone and face to face at meetings and sit visits to gain confirmed sales
  • Plan diary to make effective use of working day
  • Maintain accurate records of all contacts and conversations with clients
  • Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities
  • Manage pipeline to ensure leads are converted in a timely manner
  • Delivering sales targets and KPI's

Requirements;

  • Previous experience within venues or events
  • Strong business development background
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Great team player
  • Ability to work individually
  • Autonomous self-starter, driven by sales
  • Experience using CRM/Booking systems to manage leads
  • Self motivated and target driven
  • Ability to nurture and build strong relationships with clients and customers
