About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We're home to the most important conversations happening today and we're making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here's where you can help decide a better future for us all.

What You'll Be Doing
We have a big vision for Housing Services where we will work deep within our neighbourhoods and communities to improve our services with people who use and rely on them and we are looking for a Home Ownership Manager with passion and enthusiasm to help deliver this ambition.

You will use your expertise in Housing and Home Ownership to manage leaseholder income and service teams, including service charges and major works, ensuring a proactive approach to income collection and delivering a relational service to leaseholders.

Your role will include overseeing a wide range of functions such as Right to Buy, major works, service charges, sub-let registration, presale engagement, enfranchisement, and compliance with BSA certification. Additionally, you will manage legal cases, HRA energy budgets, and buyback accounting. You'll drive an early intervention, person-centered approach to case management, work closely with Housing and Repairs teams, and provide regular advice and performance reporting to the Head of Leaseholder Services and Housing Income.

All About You
We're looking for someone who shares our vision of making Camden the best place to live and work, with a commitment to ensuring that housing services are accessible, proactive, and resident-focused. You're passionate about housing equality and believe that everyone should have a safe and secure home. With your expertise in Housing and Home Ownership, you'll take a proactive approach to managing leaseholder income and services, always putting residents' needs at the forefront.

You thrive on collaboration, working closely with colleagues and teams to deliver a high standard of service to leaseholders. You're comfortable navigating complex challenges and balancing competing priorities, all while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and performance. Your approach is data-driven, responsive, and adaptable, ensuring services are efficient and transparent, and that Camden's housing services meet the needs of the community.
