Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 1929 Annualised Hours working weekends, evenings, school and bank holidays with an on call rota
Worker Type: Onsite Worker
Salary: Starting Salary is £38,223 (Year one) rising to £41,418 (Year four) per annum (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role
To lead, and be fully responsible for all site operations at one of Nottingham City Councils Heritage Sites. The purpose of this role has three discrete elements:
- The first is to line manage a large team staff at the defined heritage site ensuring outstanding customer service is delivered at all times.
- The second is to manage the site, ensuring that it is well maintained and provides an enjoyable environment for visitors and customers.
- The Third is to promote innovation and creativity that can contribute to increased income generation.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience of working within retail, catering, private hire & visitor management
- Able to lead and inspire others to deliver an excellent museums & galleries service within a context of shrinking resources and competing priorities
- Full and sound understanding of all statutory and legal requirements related to the safe management of occupied and functional commercial and heritage Grade 1 listed buildings including H&S & EA
- To ensure delivery of outstanding customer service to all visitors and customers
- Ability to work effectively within a highly pressurised environment, where priorities and deadlines are subject to change.
- Able to work across all museum sites -including evening, weekends and bank holidays taking responsibility for being on call as required
